Toby Time, Everything I Do and Ally Oop Keats were quick to begin.
Segovia's Dream and Everything I Do collided soon after the start. Everything I Do and Go Pappa Go collided soon after the start. Segovia's Dream, Go Pappa Go and Shadow Mist collided on the first turn checking Segovia's Dream and Everything I Do. Threadin' Mikado checked off Segovia's Dream approaching the second turn. Everything I Do and They Love Me collided entering the back straight. Ally Oop Keats and Shadow Mist collided approaching the third turn. Segovia's Dream and They Love Me collided approaching the home turn. Segovia's Dream turned its head inwards and marred Everything I Do in the home straight. Segovia's Dream and Everything I Do collided in the home straight.
Segovia's Dream underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left triangle and right deltoid muscles. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Russell Edwards, the trainer of Segovia's Dream regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Segovia's Dream was charged with marring. Mr. Edwards pleaded guilty to the charge, Segovia's Dream is suspended for 28 days at Sandown and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
