Big Bash Army stumbled soon after the start.  Super Flyer crossed to the inside soon after the start checking Gunmandu, Miracle Millie, Ashby Swift and Fernando Sam.  Gunmandu, Ashby Swift and Fernando Sam collided approaching the first turn.  Gunmandu checked off Fernando Sam on the first turn checking Ashby Swift.  Booralite and Super Flyer collided approaching the second turn.  Gunmandu and Ashby Swift collided approaching the second turn.  Miracle Millie and Ashby Swift collided approaching the home turn.

Isotope, Lilly Lana and Al's Vixen were slow to begin.

Isotope and Dewana Success collided soon after the start.  Isotope checked off Dewana Success approaching the first turn causing Isotope and Lilly Lana to collide.  Blazin' Hawk checked off Al's Vixen on the third turn.  

A pre-race sample was taken from Oaklee Bale.

Psycho Star was slow to begin.

Potente Rocks and Psycho Star collided soon after the start.  Spyglass checked off Oaklee Bale approaching the first turn.  Oaklee Bale and Potente Rocks collided on the first turn, approaching the second turn and on the second turn checking both greyhounds.  Big Bash Ellyse checked off Miss Eloise in the back straight.  Psycho Star checked off Big Bash Ellyse approaching the home turn.  Big Bash Ellyse and Psycho Star collided in the home straight.  

Following the event Big Bash Ellyse displayed signs of Post Exercise Distress Syndrome (PEDS). As a result, the greyhound underwent a veterinary examination and was found to be displaying clinical signs of Ataxia/Hypermetria and a right deltoid injury. A 7 day stand down penalty was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. David Willcocks, the representative of Big Bash Ellyse and advised him that the greyhound would be closely monitored in future events.

A pre-race sample was taken from Dorellie Love.

Shamrock Lava and Flying Banjo were slow to begin.

Dorellie Love checked off Quid Pro Quo approaching the first turn.  Quid Pro Quo and Shamrock Lava collided on the fourth turn and again approaching the home turn.

Dewana Classic, Abelero Bale and Get Real were slow to begin.

Abelero Bale and Get Real collided soon after the start causing Aberlero Bale to check off What Price.  Matilda Hook checked off Nangar Rippa on the first turn checking Dewana Classic.  Get Real checked off Dewana Classic entering the back straight.  

A pre-race sample was taken from Chill Out Webby.

Lonnie Mach, Blusain Bolt and Jeda's Girl were quick to begin.

Blusain Bolt and Jeda's Girl collided soon after the start.  Ask Me Now, Valencia Gem, Chill Out Webby, Blusain Bolt and Jeda's Girl collided on the first turn checking Chill Out Webby.  Blusain Bolt, Kissable and Dove's Cry.  Blusain Bolt and Dove's Cry collided entering the front straight.  Ask Me Now visibly eased approaching the second turn and collided with Chill Out Webby.  Ask Me Now and Chill Out Webby collided on the third turn checking Ask Me Now.  Blusain Bolt raced wide in the back straight.  Ask Me Now visibly eased approaching the fourth turn and pulled up as a result.  Jeda's Girl checked off Lonnie Mach approaching the home turn.

Ask Me Now underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Trainer, Mr. Brendan Pursell declined a re-examination.  

Stewards spoke to Mr. Pursell, the trainer of Ask Me Now regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the second turn and again approaching the fourth turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Ask Me Now was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Pursell pleaded guilty to the charge, Ask Me Now is suspended for 28 days at Sandown and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Toby Time, Everything I Do and Ally Oop Keats were quick to begin.

Segovia's Dream and Everything I Do collided soon after the start.  Everything I Do and Go Pappa Go collided soon after the start.  Segovia's Dream, Go Pappa Go and Shadow Mist collided on the first turn checking Segovia's Dream and Everything I Do.  Threadin' Mikado checked off Segovia's Dream approaching the second turn.  Everything I Do and They Love Me collided entering the back straight.  Ally Oop Keats and Shadow Mist collided approaching the third turn.  Segovia's Dream and They Love Me collided approaching the home turn.  Segovia's Dream turned its head inwards and marred Everything I Do in the home straight.  Segovia's Dream and Everything I Do collided in the home straight. 

Segovia's Dream underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left triangle and right deltoid muscles. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Russell Edwards, the trainer of Segovia's Dream regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Segovia's Dream was charged with marring. Mr. Edwards pleaded guilty to the charge, Segovia's Dream is suspended for 28 days at Sandown and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Molly Coaster – New declared weight of 27.5kg, last raced at 28.7kg.

Fourth Dimention, Molly Coaster and Spirit Of Arlene were slow to begin.
