Steward's Report
Duke Of Airly and Serious Bolt were quick to begin. Almapa Berisha, Duke Of Airly and Eye Got It collided approaching the first turn. Serious Bolt was checked off Duce Royal on the first turn checking Duke Of Burnley, Eye Got It, Mepunga Bonnie and Wears Woodleigh and severely checking Duke Of Airly which stumbled and lost considerable ground. Eye Got It was checked off Mepunga Bonnie approaching the home turn.
Duke Of Airly underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right monkey muscle, right triangle muscle and a split webbing on the right front foot. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
A post race sample was taken from Duce Royal - winner of the event.
