Zade's Magic, Let's Roll, Desiree Dancer and Simply Smarter collided soon after the start checking Let's Roll, Desiree Dancer and Simply Smarter. Let's Roll galloped on Desiree Dancer on the first turn causing Desiree Dancer to contact the running rail. Let's Roll and Desiree Dancer collided approaching the home turn checking Desiree Dancer. Zade's Magic, Simply Smarter and Problem Solved raced wide from approaching the home turn to the home turn.
Desiree Dancer underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury and an abrasion to the left stifle. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
