A pre-race sample was taken from Pictor Lucy.
Miss Zok Dee and Old Town Road were slow to begin.
Valencia Gem and Tezzalenko collided soon after the start checking Tezzalenko. Valencia Gem and Impending collided on the first turn checking Impending. Pictor Lucy crossed in on the first turn severely checking Zianna Rose, Tezzalenko, Old Town Road and Miss Zok Dee causing Tezzalenko, Old Town Road and Miss Zok Dee to race wide. Grudge checked off Impending on the second turn.
Trainer Mr H. Goss requested that Pictor Lucy undergo a post-race veterinary examination and was found to a left elbow injury. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
GRV Investigators conducted a check of catcher’s licences in accordance with LR 16.2 and all were compliant.
