Buddy Guy and Triskelion were slow to begin.

New Punchline, Smokin' Cindy and Molly Magic collided on the first turn.  Smokin' Cindy, Molly Magic and Triskelion collided approaching the second turn severely checking Molly Magic and causing Triskelion to fall.  Smokin' Cindy and New Punchline collided in the home straight and again approaching the winning post.

Triskelion underwent a post-race veterinary examination - No apparent injury was reported.

Slight Of Hand was quick to begin.  Repercussions were slow to begin.

Repercussions, Jayville Slick and Leaping Lydia collided on the first turn checking Jayville Slick and Leaping Lydia.  Leaping Lydia checked off Jayville Slick on the second turn.  Ultra Lightbeam and Caveman Yap collided approaching the third turn.  Jayville Slick checked off Ultra Lightbeam on the third turn.

Indominus raced wide entering the back straight.  Another Rupee and Indominus collided approaching the home turn. 

A sample was taken from Close Encounter upon arrival at the course.

Close Encounter and Sensory were slow to begin.  Stagger Loot was very slow (3 lengths).

Sensory galloped on Heavy Fuel approaching the second turn causing Heavy Fuel to stumble and race wide checking Sensory and Hedonistic.  Stagger Loot brushed the running rail on the second turn.  Heavy Fuel and Sensory collided approaching the home turn checking Heavy Fuel.  Heavy Fuel galloped on Stagger Loot approaching the winning post checking both greyhounds.  

Stagger Loot underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Bandwagon and Star Fever were slow to begin.

Moraine Rosie, Reiko Houdini and Flash Fernando collided soon after the start.  Bandwagon, Flash Fernando and Star Fever collided on the first turn.  Reiko Houdini and Flash Fernando collided on the first turn.  Bandwagon and It's Not Fun collided on the home turn. 

Kilpatrick and Extra Speed were slow to begin.

Rosie Cotton and Go Twenty Two collided soon after the start.  Rosie Cotton and Extra Speed collided soon after the start.  Extra Speed, Rosie Cotton and Go Twenty Two collided on the first turn checking Extra Speed, severely checking Go Twenty Two and Yindi Girl Turbo causing both greyhounds to race wide.  Eastside and Kilpatrick collided on the second turn.  Go Twenty Two and Yindi Girl Turbo collided approaching the home turn.  Yindi Girl Turbo marred Go Twenty Two approaching the home turn. 

Yindi Girl Turbo underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hind laceration. No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mrs A. Langton, the representative of Yindi Girl Turbo regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Yindi Girl Turbo was charged with marring. Mrs Langton pleaded guilty to the charge, Yindi Girl Turbo is suspended for 28 days at Sandown and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Perfect Rocky and Weblec Diamond collided in the back straight.  Perfect Rocky checked off Atlantic Jewel on the first turn checking Wears Woodleigh.  Perfect Rocky, Wears Woodleigh and Weblec Diamond collided on the third turn checking all three greyhounds.  Bold and Weblec Diamond collided approaching the home turn.

Miss Zok Dee and Old Town Road were slow to begin.

Valencia Gem and Tezzalenko collided soon after the start checking Tezzalenko.  Valencia Gem and Impending collided on the first turn checking Impending.  Pictor Lucy crossed in on the first turn severely checking Zianna Rose, Tezzalenko, Old Town Road and Miss Zok Dee causing Tezzalenko, Old Town Road and Miss Zok Dee to race wide.  Grudge checked off Impending on the second turn. 

Trainer Mr H. Goss requested that Pictor Lucy undergo a post-race veterinary examination and was found to a left elbow injury.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
