Perfect Crippa – New declared weight of 33.8kgs last raced at 35.3kgs at Shepparton on 14 November, 2019.
Addy Belle and Tolerant collided several times from soon after the start to the 250m mark. Superior Merlot and Rapid Faith collided at the 100m mark and again approaching the 50m mark. Addy Belle checked off Tolerant approaching the 50m mark. Card Declined visibly eased approaching the winning post.
Card Declined underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr M. Davison, the trainer of Card Declined regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Card Declined was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Davison pleaded not guilty to the charge, Card Declined was found guilty and suspended for 90 days at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(b) before any future nomination will be accepted.
