Madalia Mick was slow to begin.
Super Switch checked off Darley Park soon after the start. Super Switch crossed to the rail approaching the 200m mark. Madalia Mick crossed out approaching the 200m mark and collided with Double Tactic and Rollin' In checking Rollin' In.
Double Tactic underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the right eye. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Pranjip Zeus - winner of the event.
