Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Wicked Show, Twilight Flame and Saharrah Blitz collided soon after the start. Wicked Show and Saharrah Blitz collided several times from approaching the 250m mark to approaching the 200m mark. Laxman and Retro Reece collided at the 250m mark. Retro Reece, Wicked Show and Saharrah Blitz collided approaching the 200m mark checking Wicked Show and Twilight Flame. Laxman and Retro Reece collided at the 200m mark checking Laxman. Laxman and Saharrah Blitz collided approaching the 100m mark.

Stewards spoke to Trainer, Mrs Helene Sellars, regarding the fixed odds betting activities for Serious Mayhem in this event.  Mrs Sellars told Stewards she expected a forward showing of both her kennel greyhounds in this event, however, dropped Serious Mayhem in distance from 350m at its previous start to 300m in today's run.  Mrs Sellars also advised that she had told the connections of both greyhounds that they had trialled well and expected a good performance from Serious Mayhem today. Mrs Sellars also advised she had a small wager on Serious Mayhem.  Stewards noted Mrs. Sellars explanation.

Seriously Insane was quick to begin and crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Rev The Jockey and Amlin Storm. Another Episode, Rippy Rocket, Dami Jill and Amlin Storm collided soon after the start checking all four greyhounds. Rev The Jockey crossed to the rail at the 300m mark checking My Girl Joey. Amlin Storm crossed to the rail at the 300m mark and collided with My Girl Joey. Forever Franky checked off Rev The Jockey approaching the 250m mark and crossed to the outside. Another Episode crossed to the outside approaching the 150m mark checking Dami Jill.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Dr. Tucker, a post race sample was subsequently taken.

My Boy Will, Nullify and Dr. Madison collided soon after the start checkiing Nullify and Dr. Knuckles. Aston Ryker and My Boy Will collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds, Aston Ryker stumbled as a result. Dr. Tucker and Dr. Nathaniel collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Dr. Nathaniel, Aston Ryker, My Boy Will and Nullify collided at the 300m mark checking Aston Ryker and My Boy Will. Dr. Nathaniel, Dr. Madison and Invictus Murray collided appproaching the 200m mark checking Dr. Madison. Aston Ryker crossed to the outside approaching the 100m mark and checked off My Boy Will.

Wicked One – Late scratching at 7:12am when Mr S. Humphries reported the greyhound to have a wrist injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Midnight Monarch was slow to begin.

Chase's Entity crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Mad Eye Madam and Maximum Abbie. Floppy Roo raced wide at the 300m mark and collided with Lady Kin Lee. Chase's Entity checked off Mad Eye Madam approaching the 100m mark.

Sparkle Motion was quick to begin and crossed to the rail soon after the start. Duke Of Burnley and Alfie's Affair were slow to begin.

Locked In was slow to begin.

Coyote Ugly and Secret Package collided at the 300m mark checking Everything I Do; Coyote Ugly fell as a result. Everything I Do crossed to the outside approaching the 200m mark. Locked In and Secret Package collided at the 200m mark.

Coyote Ugly underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injury.

Grudge was slow to begin.

Meehan Pebbles, Wake The Dragon, Sweet Swagger and Dr. Rayna collided soon after the start checking Wake The Dragon, Sweet Swagger and Dr. Rayna. Wake The Dragon crossed to the outside at the 300m mark checking Dr. Rayna, Midnight Titan and Grudge. Meehan Pebbles raced wide approaching the 250m mark. Meehan Pebbles crossed to the outside approaching the 150m mark checking Grudge. Meehan Pebbles and Grudge collided approaching the 50m mark.

Superior Power and Sole Elusion collided soon after the start. Bit Fancy crossed to the rail soon after the start and collided with One Thrill and Big Bazza.

Perfect Crippa –  New declared weight of 33.8kgs last raced at 35.3kgs at Shepparton on 14 November, 2019.

Addy Belle and Tolerant collided several times from soon after the start to the 250m mark. Superior Merlot and Rapid Faith collided at the 100m mark and again approaching the 50m mark. Addy Belle checked off Tolerant approaching the 50m mark. Card Declined visibly eased approaching the winning post.

Card Declined underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.  Stewards spoke to Mr M. Davison, the trainer of Card Declined regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Card Declined was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Davison pleaded not guilty to the charge, Card Declined was found guilty and suspended for 90 days at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(b) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Madalia Mick was slow to begin.

Super Switch checked off Darley Park soon after the start. Super Switch crossed to the rail approaching the 200m mark. Madalia Mick crossed out approaching the 200m mark and collided with Double Tactic and Rollin' In checking Rollin' In.

Double Tactic underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the right eye. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre race sample was taken from Barinya.

No Tickles was slow to begin.

No Tickles and Barinya collided soon after the start. Spolly Bear checked off Tubark at the 200m mark and crossed in checking Barinya. Nangar Rippa and Snap Decision collided several times from approaching the 150m mark to the 50m mark checking both greyhounds. Madonya lost ground over the concluding stages.

Emerley Nolen and Maggie Moonshine were very slow to begin - 3 lengths.

Unsolved Mystery and Top Faith collided soon after the start and again approaching the 200m mark. Soda Diamond, Superior Uno and Scraping Paint collided approaching the 200m mark. Superior Uno crossed to the rail approaching the 150m mark checking Top Faith.
