A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Aston Shaker, a post-race sample was subsequently taken.
My Dark Rose and Mystic Rose were quick to begin.
Greysynd Spectre, Twelfth Of Never and Knuckle Buster collided soon after the start. Greysynd Spectre checked off Barbie Jiggs approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds causing Barbie Jiggs and Knuckle Buster to collide, both greyhounds raced wide as a result. Mystic Rose, Mystic Faith and My Dark Rose collided in the home straight checking My Dark Rose. Mystic Faith checked off Mystic Rose approaching the winning post.
