Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Due to a technical malfunction the timing system was not operative for this event, the race was hand timed at 30.52 seconds, with no split times available. 

Max Black was slow to begin.

Annie Rocks and He Shall Skite collided approaching the first turn.  Tiffy's Express and Cruyff collided on the first turn checking Cruyff which stumbled.  Max Black crossed out on the first turn checking He Shall Skite.  He Shall Skite checked off Max Black entering the back straight.  Max Black and Cruyff collided on the third turn checking both greyhounds.  Max Black and He Shall Skite collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.  He Shall Skite checked off Max Black entering the home straight.  

Rosie's Delight crossed out soon after the start causing Darcon Spirit, Orion Bale, Aston Malmo and Perfect Jewel to collided checking Darcon Spirit.  Darcon Spirit and Orion Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Darcon Spirit.  Our Henrietta and Crackerjack Baz collided on the first turn.  Aston Malmo checked off Crackerjack Baz approaching the home turn.  Orion Bale and Aston Malmo collided in the home straight.  Rosie's Delight and Crackerjack Baz collided approaching the winning post.  

Darcon Spirit underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle injury and an abrasion to the right hock.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

My Dark Rose and Mystic Rose were quick to begin.

Greysynd Spectre, Twelfth Of Never and Knuckle Buster collided soon after the start.  Greysynd Spectre checked off Barbie Jiggs approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds causing Barbie Jiggs and Knuckle Buster to collide, both greyhounds raced wide as a result.  Mystic Rose, Mystic Faith and My Dark Rose collided in the home straight checking My Dark Rose.  Mystic Faith checked off Mystic Rose approaching the winning post.

Just Faith, Desiree Dancer, Reap The Rewards, Bronelly Buster and Lemonade Kid collided approaching the first turn checking all five greyhounds.  Just Faith checked off Desiree Dancer approaching the first turn. Why Not Bazzar galloped on Mabel's Fire on the first turn.  Reap The Rewards galloped on Just Faith approaching the home turn causing Reap The Rewards to race wide and lose considerable ground and causing Just Faith to falter and tail off.

Just Faith underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock fracture/dislocation.  A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Following race 4, Stewards inspected a section of the track approaching the home turn and deemed it satisfactory for racing.

Who Back There and Diama Miss were quick to begin.

Ricolina Lass, Vigorous and Meat Murphy collided approaching the first turn checking Meat Murphy.  Who Back There and Fernandes collided on the first turn.  Ricolina Lass checked off Galloping Occy on the second turn.  Ricolina Lass and Meat Murphy collided in the back straight checking Meat Murphy.  Fernandes checked off Who Back There on the third turn.  Diama Miss and Galloping Occy collided on the third turn.  Vigorous and Diama Miss collided approaching the winning post.

Whatever I Want was quick to begin.

Why Not Paps and Mostro Rocks collided soon after the start checking Mostro Rocks.  Dundee Joker and Terren's Close collided soon after the start.  Why Not Paps, Dundee Joker and Terren's Close collided approaching the first turn checking Terren's Close and Devel Sixteen.  Dundee Joker and Why Not Paps collided on the first turn and again approaching the second turn checking Why Not Paps.  Terren's Close and Devel Sixteen collided approaching the second turn and again in the back straight checking Terren's Close.  Why Not Paps and Devel Sixteen collided on the third turn causing Mostro Rocks to check off Why Not Paps.  Terren's Close checked off Mostro Rocks approaching the home turn.  Philadelphia Pip and Cranberry Miss collided entering the home straight.

Bejarano and Dundee Ace collided soon after the start.  Hip Hippy Shake and Lightwood Lass collided approaching the first turn.  Lightwood Lass and Bejarno collided on the first turn.  Dundee Ace and Dewana Milkshake collided on the first turn and raced wide.  Matilda Mikado and Sarcasmic collided on the third turn checking Matilda Mikado.  Lightwood Lass raced wide in the back straight.  Sarcasmic and Dundee Ace collided entering the home straight checking Sarcasmic.  Romeo Lad and Lightwood Lass raced wide in the home straight.  Lightwood Lass faltered in the home straight and lost ground.  

Lightwood Lass underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found have a left hock fracture/dislocation and a left hind lost/torn nail.  A 90 day stand down period ws imposed.  

Following race 7, Stewards inspected a section of the track in the home straight and deemed it satisfactory for racing.

Outlaw Donny, Ebonique and Maverick Bob collided soon after the start checking Ebonique.  Johnny Be Good, Maverick Bob, Totally Bullish, Let's Roll and Walk On Bye collided on the first turn checking all five greyhounds, Walk On Bye raced wide as a result.  Totally Bullish and Mahjong Buddy collided approaching the home turn severely checking Mahjong Buddy and checking Totally Bullish.  Outlaw Donny and Let's Roll collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Totally Bullish and Let's Roll collided entering the home straight. 

Why Not Colby and Aston Jolie collided approaching the first turn checking Aston Jolie.  Slingshot Reaper, Aston Jolie, Tickle My Fancy and Gracelands collided on the first turn severely checking Slingshot Reaper, Aston Jolie, Tickle Me Fancy and checking Gracelands.  Weeping Angel and Why Not Colby collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds, both raced wide as a result.
