Broady Lights was quick to begin.

Crackerjack Baz went up with the lids at box rise.  Aston Shaker and Free Kick Hawks collided soon after the start.  Our Henrietta and Taylor's Chip collided approaching the first turn checking Taylor's Chip.  Our Henrietta and Crackerjack Baz collided on the first turn and again entering the home straight.  Broady Lights visibly eased, turned its head outwards in the home straight checking Aston Shaker.  Broady Lights checked off Aston Shaker approaching the winning post.

Broady Lights underwent a post-race veterinary examination. Mrs M. Mayle declined a re-vet. No apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to Mrs M Mayle, the representative of Broady Lights regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Broady Lights was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mrs Mayle pleaded guilty to the charge, Broady Lights is suspended for 28 days at Cranbourne and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Knuckle Buster was slow to begin.

Big Bash Healy checked off Big Bash Punter on the first turn.  Giant Shadow and Ikora Bale collided approaching the home turn.  Big Bash Punter and Knuckle Buster collided approaching the home turn checking Big Bash Punter.  

Jump The Bar checked off Twelfth Of Never soon after the start.  Maximum Jodie and My Girl Chezza collided soon after the start checking My Girl Chezza, causing My Girl Chezza to check off Twelfth Of Never.  It's A Tiger and Koh Lipe collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds, causing Maximum Jodie to check off Koh Lipe checking Maximum Jodie, Jump The Bar and Twelfth Of Never.  It's A Tiger and Jump The Bar collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.  Maximum Jodie and Jump The Bar collided in the home straight.

Nero Frizzante, Cloncurry Girl and Ebonique collided approaching the first turn checking Ebonique.  Mahjong Buddy and Shaun John collided on the first turn checking Mahjong Buddy, causing Mahjong Buddy and Ebonique to collide.  Nero Frizzante, Let's Roll and Kinloch Journey collided approaching the home turn checking Nero Frizzante and Kinloch Journey, both raced wide as a result.  Nero Frizzante turned its head outwards on the home turn checking Kinloch Journey.  Ebonique and Let's Roll collided in the home straight.  

Nero Frizzante underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right tarsal sprain and an abrasion to the right hock, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Mr A. Xerri, regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Nero Frizzante was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Xerri pleaded guilty to the charge, Nero Frizzante must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Fine Tactics checked off Vigorous soon after the start.  Verne Bale, Joyful, Meat Murphy and Fernandes collided approaching the first turn checking Joyful and Fernandes.  Fine Tactics checked off Joyful on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds, Fine Tactics fell as a result.  Vigorous checked off Verne Bale on the first turn.  Fernandes and Verne Bale collided in the back straight.  Fernandes checked off Verne Bale on the third turn.  Joyful checked off Meat Murphy approaching the home turn.  Razor Roy veered in approaching the winning post and marred According.

Fine Tactics underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right wrist.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Mrs Johannsen pleaded guilty to the charge, Razor Roy is suspended for 28 days at Cranbourne and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
