Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Dami Jill was slow to begin.

Ultra High crossed to the outside soon after the start and collided with Ishmy Neecy, Will's Bella and Dami Jill. Will's Bella crossed in at the 225m mark severely checking Chattering Teeth. Recinder Jack crossed to the outside at the 175m mark and collided with Ultra High. Recinder Jack and Ultra High collided several times from the 150m mark to the 100m mark. Dami Jill visibly eased and pulled up at the 50m mark.

Dami Jill underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following Race 4. Dami Jill was found to have a right chest muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Handler Mr Geoffrey Fisher, regarding the greyhounds racing manners at the 50m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Dami Jill was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Fisher pleaded guilty to the charge,  Dami Jill must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Warm Beer was slow to begin.

Wicked Show crossed out soon after the start and collided with Especially Eager checking Retro Reece and King Brown and severely checking Especially Eager; Retro Reece, Especially Eager and Warm Beer collided as a result severely checking Especially Eager. Wicked Show and Saharrah Blitz collided at the 250m mark. Saharrah Blitz crossed to the rail at the 50m mark checking Aston Camille, Wicked Show and Warm Beer.

Clonmore was slow to begin.

Remember Jimmy and Hello George collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Big Boy Marjen and Blazin' Poppy collided at the 300m mark. Blazin' Poppy crossed out at the 250m mark and collided with Jai And Sauce. Remember Jimmy checked off Hello George at the 200m mark. Big Boy Marjen crossed out at the 175m mark and collided with Blazin' Poppy checking Blazin' Poppy. Blazin' Poppy checked off Clonmore at the 50m mark. 

Hello George underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

My Boy Will was slow to begin.

Aston Guinness and Invictus Murray collided soon after the start. Speedy Jack crossed to the outside soon after the start and collided with Aston Guinness as a result. Addy Belle and Majestic Way collided soon after the start and again at the 250m mark checking Majestic Way. Aston Guinness checked off Speedy Jack at the 125m mark. Stigmatize and My Boy Will collided approaching the winning post.

Lap It Up and Big Boy Paddy were slow to begin.

Mirror Max and On Key collided at the 300m mark. Mirror Max and Big Boy Paddy collided at the 300m mark causing Big Boy Paddy to fall checking Blazin' Bulla. Lap It Up and By Your Side collided at the 275m mark. Mirror Max and On Key collided at the 275m mark. On Key galloped on Mirror Max at the 50m mark severely checking Mirror Max which stumbled and lost ground. 

Mirror Max underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left tarsal fracture. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Big Boy Paddy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right monkey, right chest and left pencil, and concussion. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr Shaun Baulch, the trainer of Master Faith regarding today being the greyhound's third race start in seven days. Mr Baulch stated that he does light exercise with his greyhounds as his method of training each day and does not trial or free run between races. Stewards noted his explanation. 

Master Faith, Zipping Hunter and Baby Eden collided soon after the start. Master Faith and Baby Eden collided at the 50m mark.

Balance checked off Big Bazza at the 300m mark. Balance and Western Bomber collided at the 250m mark. Western Bomber checked off Balance at the 100m mark.

Aston Meilleur, Amy Amour and Aston Clurey collided at the 300m mark. Big Flash Marjen and Mumma's Bear collided at the 300m mark. Thrill Me checked off All Inn Redman at the 275m mark checking Aston Clurey. Amy Amour crossed to the outside at the 200m mark. Lemonade Kid and Mumma's Bear collided at the 100m mark checking Big Flash Marjen.

Petra Bale, Red Hot Lady, Serious Mayhem, Darley Park and Electric Mick collided soon after the start checking Petra Bale, Red Hot Lady and Serious Mayhem. Premier Maggie shifted out and collided with Floppy Roo soon after the start. Premier Maggie and Floppy Roo collided approaching the 200m mark. Lightfoot Lass and Electric Mick collided at the 200m mark checking Lightfoot Lass and Petra Bale which stumbled. Premier Maggie checked off Floppy Roo at the 100m mark. Floppy Roo visibly eased, crossed out and collided with Darley Park approaching the winning post checking Darley Park.

Floppy Roo underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right deltoid muscle injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Colin Baker, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Floppy Roo was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Baker pleaded guilty to the charge, Floppy Roo must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards noted that there was an incorrect boxing order in this event. Stewards were satisfied that no greyhounds were disadvantaged

Alfie's Affair, Big Bella, Inter Mimi, Bring The Spring and All Inn Christy collided soon after the start checking Bring The Spring and All Inn Christy; Bring The Spring and Inter Phillip collided as a result. Superior Sam and Big Bella collided approaching the 100m mark. Big Bella checked off Inter Mimi at the 100m mark. Superior Sam crossed out at the 50m mark.

Superior Sam underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right thigh injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Superior Kiki – Late scratching at 8:13am when Mr D. Condon reported the greyhound to have an illness (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Soda Diamond and Snap Decision collided several times from the 100m mark to the 50m mark checking Snap Decision.

Ginny Woolf, Murrabit Benny and Ishmy Barry collided soon after the start checking Murrabit Benny. Ginny Woolf and Harston Flare collided at the 275m mark; Ginny Woolf stumbled checking Banyuatis. Banyuatis crossed to the outside at the 250m mark. Ishmy Barry crossed to the inside at the 150m mark.
