Steward's Report
Weblec Spice and Atlantic Jewel were quick to begin. More More More and Vesper Bale were slow to begin.
Weblec Spice, Atlantic Jewel and Zipping Sullivan collided soon after the start checking Black Mustang and Atlantic Jewel. Black Mustang and Atlantic Jewel collided approaching the first turn checking Black Mustang. Kraken Lightning and Weblec Spice collided approaching the first turn checking Weblec Spice. Kraken Lightning, Atlantic Jewel and Vesper Bale collided on the first turn. Mepunga Pegasus and Kraken Lightning collided approaching the home turn checking Kraken Lightning. Zipping Sullivan, which performed below market expectations, underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Trainer Ms D. Coleman advised Stewards that Zipping Sullivan was disadvantaged by drawing Box 7, and is a relatively inexperienced greyhound that is not suited to racing later in the program. Stewards noted her comments.
