Steward's Report
Blue Emerald and Fabriola Citrus collided soon after the start causing Fabriola Citrus to stumble. Cookie Deeds and Wise Thunder collided soon after the start checking Cookie Deeds. Nessa's Zara and Yoel Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Yoel Bale. Flying Zara checked off Wise Thunder on the first turn causing Yoel Bale to gallop on Flying Zara, checking Berkel Boy and Cookie Deeds and severely checking Flying Zara and Yoel Bale. Yoel Bale, Flying Zara and Cookie Deeds collided approaching the home turn checking Flying Zara, Cookie Deeds, Fabriola Citrus and Berkel Boy; Blue Emerald fell as a result. Nessa's Zara raced wide from the home turn to the winning post.
Blue Emerald underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have general soreness. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
