Steward's Report
A sample was taken from Nimble Nala upon arrival at the course.
A pre-race sample was taken from Bags On Shazza.
Stewards conducted a check of catcher’s licences in accordance with LR 16.2 and all were compliant.
Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Parade Steward, Mr. G. Glass did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.
Red On Black was slow to begin.
Bags On Shazza and Totally Know collided approaching the first turn checking Totally Know. Angry Answer and Bags On Shazza collided approaching the first turn. Red On Black, Kraken Bo and Totally Know collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Nimble Nala and Angry Answer collided approaching the home turn checking Angry Answer. Angry Answer checked off Close To Carnage approaching the home turn. Close To Carnage tired over the concluding stages of the event.
Totally Know underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have mild dehydration and to have knocked scabs from wounds to the left metacarpals. No stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Walk On Bye, winner of the event.
