Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr G. Dailly (representing Mrs A. Dailly) regarding the number of starts the greyhound Queena Bale has had between 29/06/2019 and 10/07/19 (12 days - 4 starts). Mr G. Dailly stated that the greyhound has been fairly competitive in her runs and her weight has not changed, however, if the greyhound were to show signs of fatigue that they would reconsider her racing frequency. The Stewards accepted Mr Dailly's explanation.
Mitch Bale was slow to begin.
Ernesto Bale checked off Queena Bale soon after the start. Dyna Quark, Flaming Knocka, Queena Bale and Special Kirst collided approaching the first turn, checking Flaming Knocka and Queena Bale. Ernesto Bale checked off Mitch Bale on the first turn. Dyna Quark and Go Pappa Go collided approaching the home turn, checking Go Pappa Go. Queena Bale and Ernesto Bale collided entering the home straight, checking both greyhounds. Dyna Quark and Go Pappa Go collided on several occasions in the home straight.
A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Dyna Quark, a post race sample was subsequently taken.
