Blackpool Nugget, Cool Titanium and Miss Dangerwood collided soon after the start, checking Cool Titanium and Miss Dangerwood.  Cool Titanium checked off Miss Dangerwood on the first turn. Flash Logie and Paw Licious collided on the first turn. Blackpool Nugget, Miss Dangerwood and Keeping Busy collided on the first turn, checking Miss Dangerwood and Keeping Busy. Flash Logie checked off Paw Licious approaching the home turn. Bright Blue and Cool Titanium collided on the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Keeping Busy raced wide on the home turn. Miss Dangerwood raced wide entering the home straight.

Mr. Rain Maker checked off Dyna Wink on the first turn. Titanium Lad checked off Takis Bale entering the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr G. Dailly (representing Mrs A. Dailly) regarding the number of starts the greyhound Queena Bale has had between 29/06/2019 and 10/07/19 (12 days - 4 starts). Mr G. Dailly stated that the greyhound has been fairly competitive in her runs and her weight has not changed, however, if the greyhound were to show signs of fatigue that they would reconsider her racing frequency.  The Stewards accepted Mr Dailly's explanation.

Club officials attempted remedial works to remove the water; however, they were unsuccessful due to continuing rainfall. After consulting with club officials and acting on advice from the Bureau of Meteorology that further rain and possible lightning were forecast, Stewards abandoned the remainder of the meeting at 9:17pm.
