Steward's Report
Dee Dee One, Atlantic Jewel and Joyous Jill collided soon after the start. Atlas True Blue checked off Thumbs soon after the start. Crakalakin Caity checked off Thumbs on the home turn. Atlas True Blue and Dee Dee One collided in the home straight, checking both greyhounds. Thumbs cramped approaching the winning post and lost ground as a result.
Thumbs underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg spike wound and had cramped. No stand down period was imposed. Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp) Thumbs must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.
