Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Bartlett, the handler of Fabelite regarding the number of starts the greyhound has had between the 28th of June to the 9th of July (12 days-4starts). Mr. Bartlett stated that Fabelite had only worked in the exercise runs between race starts and in his opinion the greyhound is sound for racing.
Saint Ray was quick to begin. Someone Blue and Aston Lagonda were slow to begin.
Fabelite and Aston Lagonda collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Saint Ray and Aston Lagonda collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight. Fabelite raced wide on the home turn.
Fabelite underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
