Sweet Gabriella was quick to begin. Greysynd Mercury and Akina Error were slow to begin.
Bobby Ray faltered and raced wide on the first turn checking Elle Est Bonne and severely checking Dundee Blitz and Uzzi Bale; Bobby Ray pulled up as a result. Greysynd Mercury checked off Sweet Gabriella entering the back straight. Uzzi Bale checked off Akina Error entering the back straight.
Bobby Ray underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Greysynd Mercury underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions to the left metacarpals. No stand down period was imposed.
