This event was delayed by approximately 2 minutes due to the On Track Veterinarian attending to an injured greyhound from the previous race.
Five Times Table, Gone Early and Architecture were slow to begin.
Mini Fernando galloped on Pistol on the first turn checking Tuiaki Dora. Gone Early checked off Checker Plate on the first turn checking Architecture. Gone Early and Architecture collided on the home turn and approaching the winning post.
A post-race sample was taken from Vladimir Rose - the winner of the event.
