Steward's Report
Macfid Magic stumbled at box rise and was slow to begin. Mr. Milford crossed to the outside and Ruby's willow crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Romanova, Kintamani, So Tough, Crymelon Kit and Zekel Bale. Romanova and Crymelon Kit collided in the back straight. Ruby's Willow and So Tough collided on the second turn. Romanova and So Tough collided approaching the winning post.
Macfid Magic underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left thigh muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Zekel Bale - the winner of the event.
