During the running of the event. Driving Me Nuts partially dislodged its muzzle.

Macfid Magic underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left thigh muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Simmo Gogolac and Merriview Benny collided soon after the start. Expresso Love and Tiger Seventeen collided approaching the first turn checking Tiger Seventeen. Tiger Seventeen checked off Laile Brobio in the home straight. Simmo Gogolac cheked off Merriview Benny in the home straight.

Smooth Roster was a late scratching at 2.06pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to illness.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Black Torino - New declared weight of 34.6kgs

Cool Titanium and Refueled were quick to begin. Tex Ribs and Black Torino were slow to begin.

Black Torino and Tex Ribs collided soon after the start. Refueled stumbled approaching the first turn and lost ground as a result. Soda Witch checked off Crackerjack Tys approaching the home turn checking Black Torino. Soda Witch checked off Crackerjack Tys in the home straight.

Refueled underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 12. Refueled was found to have a right quadriceps muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards deemed the performance of Refueled entering the home straight unsatisfactory in this event and pursuant to GAR 71, Refueled must perform a satisfactory trial before any future nomination is accepted.

Crazy Summer, Major Style and Kimimela were slow to begin and collided soon after the start checking Kimimela.

Oriental Gracie, Major Style, Kimimela and Standby Blue collided on the first turn checking Kimimela, Crazy Summer and Standby Blue and severely checking Oriental Gracie. Cosmic Brew and Little Mia collided on the first turn checking Little Mia. Little Mia and and Major Style collided in the home straight.

Little Mia underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left femur fracture. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to the trainer of Little Mia, Ms D White regarding its racing manners in the home straight and issued the greyhound with a warning.

A pre-race sample was taken from Jaggered Stone.

Pyrenees Classic and Sports Gairn collided approaching the first turn checking Pyrenees Classic and Soda Ashlee. Jaggered Stone and Harry's Entity collided on the first turn checking Harry's Entity and Pinnaroo. Pyrenees Classic checked off Jaggered Stone entering the home straight.

Deep Creek Girl which trailled the field underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Mr Donlon declined to have the greyhound re-vetted.

Stewards spoke to Mr W Donlon, the trainer of Deep Creek Girl regarding its performance approaching the home turn and in the home straight. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Deep Creek Girl must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Weighing 25.6kgs and beginning from box 1, Dyna Penny completed the 390m trial distance in a time of 22.72. Dyna Penny placed 3rd in a field of 5 starters beaten by 5.75L. Dyna Penny has been cleared to race.

Chile Allen – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory Trial as the greyhound has not competed in an event for in excess of six months due to a broken scapula. Weighing 29.9kgs and beginning from box 3, Chile Allen completed the 390m trial distance in a time of 22.33. Chile Allen placed 1st in a field of 5 starters winning by 1.25L. Chile Allen has been cleared to race.

Blue Sky Riot – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory Trial as the greyhound has not competed in an event for in excess of six months due to a right stopper bone injury. Weighing 29.1kgs and beginning from box 5, Blue Sky Riot completed the 390m trial distance in a time of 22.41. Blue Sky Riot placed 2nd in a field of 5 starters beaten by 1.25L.
