Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Jaggered Stone.
Pyrenees Classic and Sports Gairn collided approaching the first turn checking Pyrenees Classic and Soda Ashlee. Jaggered Stone and Harry's Entity collided on the first turn checking Harry's Entity and Pinnaroo. Pyrenees Classic checked off Jaggered Stone entering the home straight.
Deep Creek Girl which trailled the field underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Mr Donlon declined to have the greyhound re-vetted.
Stewards spoke to Mr W Donlon, the trainer of Deep Creek Girl regarding its performance approaching the home turn and in the home straight. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Deep Creek Girl must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
