Chantilly Mack and Ko Rapid Jack collided soon after the start.  Chantilly Mack, Ko Rapid Jack and Raven Rich collided at the 250m mark.  Chantilly Mack crossed to the outside at the 150m mark and collided with Zipping Queen.  Zipping Queen checked off Chantilly Mack approaching the 50m mark.

Brother Brother was slow to begin.

Emerley Express, So Much Mojo and Rockin' Rosco collided soon after the start checking So Much Mojo and Rockin' Rosco.  Angel's Comet and Rapid Belle Noir collided soon after the start.  So Much Mojo and Rapid Belle Noir collided at the 300m mark.  Fun Time Mikado checked off Emerley Express approaching the 150m mark and raced wide.  Emerley Express crossed to the inside at the 100m mark checking Dusty Lace.  So Much Mojo and Rockin' Rosco collided at the 100m mark.  

A pre-race sample was taken from Murrabit Benny.

Superior Primo, Hot Dot Two and Aston Xanadu collided soon after the start.  Superior Primo galloped on Vamoosh at the 250m mark and collided with Tammin.  Knock The Clock, Vamoosh and Hot Dot Two collided several times from the 200m mark to the 150m mark.  Tammin checked off Superior Primo approaching the winning post.  

Mr Steve Kaltsis failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Hot Dot Two for racing.  Mr Kaltsis was fined $100 pursuant to GAR 46 (2).

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Straaljager, a post race sample was subsequently taken.

Tigga Toy, Straaljager and Tearaway Train were slow to begin.

Nick's Never and Hot Cruiser collided soon after the start.  Nick's Never, Hot Cruiser and Tearaway Train collided soon after the start.  Nick's Never and Hot Cruiser collided at the 300m mark.  Tigga Toy, Straaljager, Miss Ledekey, Abby Boom and Tearaway Train collided at the 250m mark.  Straaljager and Miss Ledekey collided at the 200m mark.  Miss Ledekey visibly eased and collided with Tearaway Train approaching the winning post.

Miss Ledekey underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to Mr Calven Russell, the trainer of Miss Ledekey regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Miss Ledekey was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Russell pleaded guilty to the charge, Miss Ledekey is suspended for 28 days at Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted. 

A post-race sample was taken from Abby Boom - the winner of the event.

Hayley's Style – New declared weight of 26.9kg, last raced at 25.8kg.

A pre-race sample was taken from Glayva.

Hayley's Style and Dan's Hopeful were slow to begin.

Back Ya Self and All Inn Tyler collided soon after the start.  It's A Diva and All Inn Tyler collided at the 300m mark and again at the 200m mark.  All Inn Tyler checked off It's A Diva at the 150m mark and collided with Hayley's Style and Farfalla Nera.

A pre-race sample was taken from Jumbo Bale.

Ima Rockstar and Sweet Strike collided soon after the start and again at the 300m mark.  Early Storm and Got It Right collided at the 150m mark.  Early Storm checked off Sweet Strike approaching the 100m mark checking Run Fast Bonnie.

Aston Jewel and Charmed An Taken collided soon after the start.  Lady Christina and Sateesha collided at the 250m mark checking Aston Jewel.  Aston Jewel checked off Sateesha at the 150m mark.  Kubla De Kahn checked off Lady Christina approaching the 50m mark.

A post-race sample was taken from Charmed An Taken - the winner of the event.

Line Trike – New declared weight of 34.3kg, last raced at 35.4kg.

A pre-race sample was taken from Riley's Paige.

Seeka Moment, Speed Alert and Lochinvar Deus were slow to begin.

Line Trike and Speckie Mckean collided soon after the start.

A pre-race sample was taken from Subscapularis.

Subscapularis was slow to begin and crossed to the outside soon after the start.

Crash Reality and Brave Innings collided soon after the start.  Hardaway Outlaw, Here Comes Tom and Our Turbo Girl collided at the 250m mark.  Crash Reality checked off Brave Innings at the 250m mark causing Crash Reality and Hardaway Outlaw to collide.  Our Turbo Girl checked off Early Express at the 230m mark.

Wet And Wild checked off Challis Magic at the 250m mark checking Bourbon An Kahn.  Superior Uno and Lord Davinci collided at the 50m mark checking both greyhounds.  Wet And Wild checked off Tricky Tron approaching the winning post.

Blistering Betty was slow to begin and stumbled soon after the start.

Aston Jynx crossed to the outside soon after the start.  Ryder Sir and Dorn's Call collided at the 250m mark causing White Cynder and Doran's Call to collide.  Doran's Call crossed to the outside at the 150m mark checking Mossy Oak.

Natural Cruiser and Ginny Woolf collided soon after the start.  Tex Burger and Shirdale Casey collided at the 250m mark checking both greyhounds.  Shirdale Casey checked off Tex Burger approaching the 200m mark.

In accordance with LR 22 Mr Calven Russell was issued with a warning regarding his non-compliance with the GRV Dress Code. 

Stewards also issued Mr Russell with a warning regarding his use of a mobile phone prior to race 8 in the parade area in accordance with GAR 44.
