Half Day Harry was slow to begin.
Dynastic Ruler, Dead Eye Dickson and Waikiki Creek collided soon after the start checking Dead Eye Dickson and Waikiki Creek. Happy Tails, Xera Bale and Oshkosh Jay collided on the home turn. Happy Tails and Oshkosh Jay collided entering the home straight checking Happy Tails, Dynastic Ruler and Oshkosh Jay.
Half Day Harry underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left deltoid injury and a right shoulder muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
