Steward's Report

Track Curator Mr M. Bickerdike advised that the track was medium harrowed on 29 April 2019.

Aston Moet was quick to begin.

Muza's Belle, Tonnes Of Zip and Bright Heart collided soon after the start.  Aston Truffle and Aston Moet collided on the first turn.  Flojo Mikado and Muza's Belle collided on the first turn.

A post-race sample was taken from Bright Heart - winner of the event.

Stewards spoke to Mrs M. Campbell following the event after it was noted that she make contact with the back of the starting boxes on commencement of the lure run up, after having boxed her greyhound Bright Heart. Stewards viewed the video replay and considered evidence from other handlers in the event. Mrs Campbell pleaded guilty to a charge pursuant to GAR 51(10)(c), in that no person shall attract the attention of any greyhound once they have been placed in the boxes. Mrs Campbell was fined $100.00.
