Garrick Bale was a late scratching at 2:09pm due to injury (GAR 37). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Denersur and Allen Dion were slow to begin. Allen Dion and Raw Energy collided approaching the first turn. Roy Galo and Easton Bale collided on the first turn checking Denersur and Roy Galo. Czar checked off Easton Bale approaching the second turn severely checking Denersur and Raw Energy. Roy Galo checked off Denersur entering the back straight. Easton Bale and Allen Dion collided on the third turn and again approaching the home turn. Czar and Easton Bale collided approaching the home turn. Czar checked off Easton Bale in the home straight.
Roy Galo was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
