Dyna Denny, Gold Coast Gazza, Jimi Krakcorn and Flip Bale were slow to begin.  Two Tree Hill was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Bathilda Bagshot crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Cloak Of Gold.  Jimi Krakcorn and Flip Bale collided soon after the start.  Bathilda Bagshot, Two Tree Hill and Gold Coast Gazza collided approaching the first turn checking Bathilda Bagshot, Two Tree Hill and Flip Bale.  Dyna Denny checked off Gold Coast Gazza approaching the second turn checking Bathilda Bagshot, Two Tree Hill and Flip Bale.  Two Tree Hill was held up for a run approaching the home turn.  Bathilda Bagshot and Flip Bale collided on the home turn.

Stewards spoke to Mrs. S. Neocleous regarding her failure to catch the greyhound, Jimi Krakcorn in this event.  Stewards reminded Mrs Neocleous of her responsibilities regarding this matter.

Ozz Magic was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's left triceps muscle.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Karanji was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 12, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's left shoulder.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Sisco Hero was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 9, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's right wrist.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Garrick Bale was a late scratching at 2:09pm due to injury (GAR 37). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Dashing Red and Steve Allen were slow to begin.  Spirit Catcher and Kiewa Cowgirl collided soon after the start.  Van Der Vaat and Spirit Catcher collided soon after the start checking Spirit Catcher.  Sir Gazza, Van Der Vaat and Kiewa Cowgirl collided on the first turn checking Van Der Vaat, Dashing Red, Spirit Catcher, Steve Allen and Kayo Marciarno.  Van Der Vaat and Kiewa Cowgirl collided in the front straight.  Spirit Catcher eased on the second turn.  Dashing Red and Kiewa Cowgirl collided on the third turn.  Van Der Vaat and Kayo Marciarno collided on the fourth turn checking Kayo Marciarno.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Andrews (catcher in event 8) following this event, regarding his failure to produce his catching licence when asked by stewards.  Mr Andrews informed stewards that he had misplaced his licence.  Stewards advised Mr Andrews to contact GRV to obtain a new licence and reminded him of his responsibilities in this matter.  Stewards also reminded Mr Andrews of his responsibilities regarding the dress code for catchers.

Spirit Catcher was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 11, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's left wrist.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Ralph, the trainer of the greyhound Spirit Catcher.  Stewards deemed the performance of Spirit Catcher unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, stewards directed that Spirit Catcher must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Jack Silver and Rockadore were slow to begin.  Harry The Great, Allen Caston and Jack Silver collided approaching the first turn checking Allen Caston.  Tricky Misty and Barkardi Girl collided on the first turn.  Jack Silver and Dungey Bale collided entering the back straight.  Harry The Great was held up for a run on the third turn.  Tricky Misty, Harry The Great and Barkardi Girl collided entering the home straight checking Tricky Misty.
