Steward's Report
Tuxedo Flyer – Not raced for in excess of 3 months and is returning to racing from a spell.
A pre-race sample was taken from Rough Surface.
Sycamore Fifi, Barnhurst and Rough Surface were slow to begin. Barnhurst and Sycamore Fifi collided soon after the start checking Sycamore Fifi. Rough Surface, Tuxedo Flyer and Tonking Home collided on the first turn. Emma's Not Happy and Barnhurst collided on the first turn checking Barnhurst. Barnhurst and Sycamore Fifi collided approaching the home turn causing Barnhurst to falter and tail off. Tuxedo Flyer, Tonking Home and Rough Surface collided approaching the home turn checking Tuxedo Flyer and Tonking Home. Sycamore Fifi, Tuxedo Flyer and Tonking Home collided on the home turn severely checking Bets And Beers and causing Sycamore Fifi to fall.
Sycamore Fifi underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have right ulna fracture. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
Barnhurst underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right monkey, right triangle and left calf muscles. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
