Dreamliner and Black Opaque collided soon after the start checking Dreamliner.  First Rule crossed in on the first turn checking Jaxson's Express, Black Opaque and severely checking Dr. Davinci.  Dr. Frankston and Dreamliner collided several times approaching the first turn.  Dr. Frankston crossed out on the first turn causing Dreamliner to gallop on Dr. Frankston which caused Dreamliner to fall and Dr Frankston to lose considerable ground and tail off.  Muza's Belle checked off Go Lucy Go entering the home straight.

Dr. Frankston underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right wrist sprain and left triangle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Yuken Win, Santana, Rosie Reigns and My Attitude collided soon after the start checking Rosie Reigns.  Santana checked off My Attitude approaching the first turn.  Yondu and Yuken Win collided on the first turn checking Yuken Win and severely checking Yondu, causing Rosie Reigns to fall and Yondu to stumble as a result.  Santana checked off Yuken Win approaching the home turn.  Double Attitude and Victor Leone collided approaching the home turn.  

Rosie Reigns underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right hock. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Yondu underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hamstring injury and an abrasion to the left achilles. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

A sample was attempted to be taken from Vineyard at the Trainer’s kennel earlier today but was unable to be obtained. Subsequently a pre-race sample was taken.

Summer Girl and Nangar Rippa collided on the first turn severely checking Summer Girl and Spot On Cinta.  Nangar Rippa was held up for a run on the home turn and collided with Super Attitude.

Black Shirley was a late scratching at 12.01pm due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). Trainer Mr W. McMahon advised stewards on arrival at course that the greyhound was on season prior to leaving for the races today.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Zharnel was quick to begin.  Cool De Beers was slow to begin. 

Meehan Deano checked off Zharnel soon after the start.  Voluptuous Dot and Brindle Ninja collided on the first turn checking Brindle Ninja.  Voluptuous Dot, Mega Hazel and Cool De Beers collided on the first turn severely checking Mega Hazel, Cool De Beers and checking Zefron.  Meehan Deano raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.

Urban Bourbon – Not raced for in excess of 3 months and is returning to racing from a right back hip injury.

Slick Maggie and Placid Murphy collided approaching the home turn checking Woodleigh Guy.  Slick Maggie and Placid Murphy collided entering the home straight.  Tarquin Bob and Potere collided in the home straight.  

Trainer Mr J. Carrodus-Nagy requested that Slick Maggie undergo a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left hind foot. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Samples were taken from Liam Roxon and Heston Flyer at the Trainer’s kennel earlier today.

Terrah round was quick to begin.  Liam Roxon and Tanjil Ace were slow to begin.

Liam Roxon checked off Sabakat on the first turn checking Heston Flyer.  Sabakat and Miss Gippsland collided on the first turn.  Navy Storm crossed to the rail entering the home straight checking Miss Gippsland and Heston Flyer.  Tanjil Ace and Catcha Nugget collided in the home straight.  Tanjil Ace, Liam Roxon and Catcha Nugget collided approaching the winning post.

A sample was taken from Party Muscles at the Trainer’s kennel earlier today.

Oz Wizard, Fab Creates and Dan's Hopeful were quick to begin.  Blazing Sword, Spectator and Piparae were slow to begin.

Party Muscles checked off Dan’s Hopeful on the first turn severely checking Smash Hit and Blazing Sword.  Smash Hit and Piparae checked off Party Muscles on the home turn severely checking Blazing Sword, Piparae and Smash Hit, Piparae stumbled as a result.  

Hurricane Billie was slow to begin.

Honeysuckle Jim, Blonde Bella, Hurricane Billie and Woodleigh Sal collided on the first turn severely checking Honeysuckle Jim and Blonde Bella.  Woodleigh Sal and Rosie Glenda collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn.  Rosie Glenda checked off Titanium Boy on the home turn.  Honeysuckle Jim and Blonde Bella collided on the home turn. 

Little Bala and Ninetymile Hawk were slow to begin.

Ninetymile Hawk, Urban Ruler and Veetee Mist collided approaching the first turn checking Veetee Mist.  Enzo, Shevchenko and Peaked collided approaching the home turn severely checking Shevchenko and Little Bala.  Enzo faltered approaching the home turn checking Urban Ruler and Peaked, Enzo tailed off as a result.  Ninetymile Hawk and Peaked collided in the home straight.

Enzo underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Peaked underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury could be detected.

The following Greyhounds performed a Stewards Satisfactory Trial – The trail took place over 400mtrs with 4 required to trial. The winning time of trial was 22.69:               

Rock It Fernando finished 1st, Once A Secret finished 2nd, Blazin About finished 3rd, Owlette finished 4th.

Rock It Fernando – Was stood down from racing at Sandown for failing to chase. Weighing 29.9kgs and beginning from box 1 winning by 3 ¼ lengths. Rock It Fernando has been cleared to race at all tracks.

Once A Secret – Was stood down from racing at Warragul for failing to chase. Weighing 30.0kgs and beginning from box 2 beaten by 3 ¼ lengths. Once A Secret has been cleared to race at all tracks.

Owlette– Performed a Stewards Satisfactory trial as connections wish to apply blinkers to the greyhound Weighing 26.2kgs and beginning from box 4 beaten by 8 ¾ lengths. Owlette has been cleared to race at all tracks.

Blazing' About - Performed a Stewards Satisfactory trial as the greyhound has not competed in an event for in excess of six months due to an amputated front left toe Weighing 35.1kgs and beginning from box 8 beaten by 7 lengths. Blazing About has been cleared to race at all tracks.
