Chicago Focus, Blazing Sword and Chill Out Isla were slow to begin.
Chill Out Isla and Mr. Scentric collided soon after the start. Mr. Scentric checked off Aston Shakira approaching the first turn. Chill Out Isla and Fawn Secrets collided on the first turn. Blazing Sword checked off Kintamani entering the home straight.
Mr. Scentric underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury could be detected.
