Pennine Way was quick to begin.  Run Like Rhys, Whynot Dan and Barroom Jewel collided soon after the start.  Barunga Bullet, Maximum Capers, Tamou Bale and Akina Blaze collided approaching the first turn checking Tamou Bale and Akina Blaze.  Maximum Capers and Run Like Rhys collided on the first turn checking Run Like Rhys.  Pennine Way and Whynot Dan collided on the first turn.  Pennine Way and Barroom Jewel collided approaching the home turn and again entering the home straight.

Whynot Gazza - late scratching at 5.50pm under GAR 37(4) on the advice of the on-track Veterinarian after the greyhound was found to be infested with fleas.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance stating the condition no longer exists, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Thrill Me and Jonathan's Rose were slow to begin.  Super Attitude was very slow to begin (4 lengths).  Shaun John and Thrill Me collided on the first turn.  Valstrepo and Jonathan's Rose collided on the first turn.  Valstrepo galloped on House Of Luck approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  House Of Luck and Valstrepo collided entering the home straight.

Akina Error was slow to begin.  Dreamliner, Oshkosh Nar and Midnight Marzy collided soon after the start.  Ya Ya Ya, Federal Attack and Honeysuckle Jim collided on the first turn checking Honeysuckle Jim.  Akina Error raced wide on the home turn.  Dreamliner and Honeysuckle Jim raced wide in the home straight.

Jillissa and Liam Roxon were quick to begin.  Akina Archer was slow to begin.  Jillissa and Liam Roxon collided on the first turn checking Fast Talker.  Fast Talker and Hot Dot Two collided on the first turn severely checking Fast Talker and Akina Archer, checking Yuken Merry.  Fast Talker and Akina Archer collided in the home straight.

Tezzalenko was checked off Tui on the first turn checking Tezzalenko, Karaka, Cloncurry Girl and Nimble Lucy.  Nimble Lucy was checked off Small Rose on the home turn.

Lady Maximus - late scratching at 6.35pm due to the greyhound not being presented in the required kennelling time (GAR 31). A 28 day stand down period was imposed.  Shortly after the close of kennelling at 6.35pm Ms. Creed arrived on course and advised Stewards that she had encountered traffic delays and was unfamiliar of the exact location of the kennelling area.  Stewards lifted the 28 day stand down period on the greyhound.  Trainer Ms. J. Creed was fined $100.

Aston Tequila was quick to begin.  Straitline Willy, Akina Moss and Zemira Mikado were slow to begin.  Akina Moss and Zemira Mikado collided soon after the start.  Zemira Mikado was checked off Secret Message approaching the first turn.  Mahi Indian was checked off Secret Message on the first turn.

Impending, Facing The Music and Mandible were quick to begin.  Untainted and Grace Intention were slow to begin.  Impending, Spolly's Flyer and Facing The Music collided soon after the start.  Threadin' Mikado, Yuken Pay Me and Grace Intention collided approaching the first turn.  Impending, Spolly's Flyer, Untainted, Threadin' Mikado and Facing The Music collided on the first turn checking Impending and Spolly's Flyer.  Impending contacted the running rail approaching the home turn.  Untainted  and Grace Intention collided several times from approaching the home turn to the home turn.  Threadin' Mikado and Grace Intention collided entering the home straight.

Impending underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left triangle muscle.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Totally Bullish was slow to begin.  Somerton May and Crickets Dash collided on the first turn checking Crickets Dash.  Zipping Dion and Inter Phillip collided on the first turn checking Inter Phillip.

Inter Phillip underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right triangle muscle.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

A post race urine and blood sample was taken from Zipping Dion - winner of the event.

Terrah Round was quick to begin.  Indira's Girl, Select Minister, Bluehawk Robert and Terrah Round collided soon after the start.  Jugungal Black and Invictus Lawless collided soon after the start.  Select Minister and Bluehawk Robert collided approaching the first turn.  Select Minister, Bluehawk Robert and Jugungal Black collided approaching the home turn checking all three greyhounds.

A pre-race sample was taken from Galloping Rokyto.

Flo Jo Focus was quick to begin.  Hot Pies, Bees On Fire, Vienna Gypsy, Ryder Sir and Zipping Amy collided on the first turn checking Hot Pies, Bees On Fire and Vienna Gypsy.  Ryder Sir was checked off Zipping Amy approaching the home turn.  Black Market and Bees On Fire collided entering the home straight.

A post race blood sample was taken from Galloping Rokyto - winner of the event.

This event was delayed due poor visibility due to fog resulting in the lure driver not being able to see the lure.  Stewards declared visibility satisfactory for racing at 10.30pm and the start time amended to 10.37pm.

Vanishka was quick to begin.  Vanishka, Dyna Drew, Bronelly Buster, Premier Jess, Pilot Pete and Let's Roll collided soon after the start.  Vanishka, Dyna Drew and Premier Jess collided on the first turn checking Vanishka.  Vanishka and Pilot Pete collided entering the home straight.

This event was rescheduled to 11.13pm after the fog returned affecting the visibility for the lure driver.  At 11.11pm this race was abandoned as visibility had not improved.
