Mighty Josiah underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left deltoid muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Why Not Senor was slow to begin.

Aremac Igor, Fiesty Ivy and Mr. Pendles collided on the first turn checking Fiesty Ivy. Five Lights and Lektra Dance collided approaching the home turn checking Five Lights. Why Not Senor faltered in the home straight and lost ground as a result.

Stewards conducted a track inspection after race 6 following consistent rain and downgraded the track condition to slow.

Early King – Was stood down from racing at Warragul for cramping. Weighing 31.5kg and beginning from box 2 beaten by 8.5 lengths. Early King has been cleared to race at all tracks/cleared to race all tracks.

Zipping Chantal – – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory Trial as the greyhound has not competed in an event for in excess of six months due to a spell. Weighing 28.1kg and beginning from box 3. Zipping Chantal placed 4th in a field of seven beaten by 5 lengths. Zipping Chantal has been cleared to race

Come On Levendi – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory Trial as connections wish to apply blinkers to the greyhound. Weighing 33.0kg and beginning from box 4. Come On Levendi was beaten by 1.25 lengths. Come On Levendi has been cleared to race in blinkers.

Adonis Rose – Was stood down from racing at Sale for marring. Weighing 35.7kg and beginning from box 6 beaten by 3.25 lengths. Adonis Rose has been cleared to race at all tracks/cleared to race all tracks except Sale.

Saw Blaze –  connections wish to apply blinkers to the greyhound. Weighing 28.3kgs and beginning from box 7.  Saw Blaze placed 5th in a field of seven beaten by 5.10 lengths. Saw Blaze has been cleared to race in blinkers.

Cheeky Bumpa – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory Trial as the greyhound has not competed in an event for in excess of six months due to a spell. Weighing 27.4 kg and beginning from box 8. Cheeky Bumpa placed 7th in a field of seven winning by 14 lengths. Cheeky Bumpa has been cleared to race.
