All Inn Hunter and Kiewa Cowboy were quick to begin. Tat Barbie and Fairytale Ending collided soon after the start checking Tat Barbie. All Inn Hunter, Akut and Fairytale Ending collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn checking All Inn Hunter. All greyhounds raced wide in the home straight. Akut, Kiewa Cowboy and Fairytale Ending collided in the home straight checking Fairytale Ending, Tat Barbie and Kiewa Cowboy. Tat Barbie and Fairytale Ending collided approaching the winning post.
