Steward's Report
Tat Chloe was slow to begin.
Gazza's Pick stayed in the boxes and did not take any competitive part in the event. Tat Chloe, Jaggered Edge and Shady Lee collided on the first turn. Tat Chloe checked off Tat Ox approaching the home turn. Tat Chloe and Chook Richards collided on the home turn severely checking both greyhounds, Tat Chloe tailed off as a result.
Tat Chloe underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a fractured hock, Tat Chloe was humanely euthanised.
Gazza's Pick underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions to the right hock. No stand down period was imposed.
Chook Richards underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left hind leg. No stand down period was imposed.
