Tight Tuesday and Sunlit Toad were quick to begin. Belle Licious was slow to begin.

Sunlit Toad and Rapid Revenue collided approaching the first turn checking Sunlit Toad. Rival Natalie, Tight Tuesday, Rapid Revenue and Belle Licious collided on the first turn checking Rival Natalie and Belle Licious severely checking Tight Tuesday. Saintly Rose raced wide entering the home straight and in the home straight. Belle Licious marred Rapid Revenue in the home straight. Rival Natalie clipped the heels of Belle Licious in the home straight. Rapid Revenue and Belle Licious collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Mr Tony Duncan, the trainer of Belle Licious regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Belle Licious was charged with marring. Mr Tony Duncan pleaded guilty to the charge, Belle Licious is suspended for 3 months at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(b) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Oakvale Striker – Not raced for in excess of 3 months and is returning to racing from a change of kennel.

Lily The Weapon was slow out.

Cash Or Card, Cozi Fitz and Perfect Rider collided on the first turn checking Cozi Fitz and severely checking Cash Or Card.  Cosmic Yessam and Lily The Weapon collided on the first turn checking Cosmic Yessam.

Tat Chloe was slow to begin.

Gazza's Pick stayed in the boxes and did not take any competitive part in the event. Tat Chloe, Jaggered Edge and Shady Lee collided on the first turn. Tat Chloe checked off Tat Ox approaching the home turn. Tat Chloe and Chook Richards collided on the home turn severely checking both greyhounds, Tat Chloe tailed off as a result. 

Tat Chloe underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a fractured hock, Tat Chloe was humanely euthanised.

Gazza's Pick underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions to the right hock. No stand down period was imposed.

Chook Richards underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left hind leg. No stand down period was imposed.

Gazza's Pick - Turned in the boxes and took no competitive part in the race, placed on a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR52(1).

Ramble Tamble – Not raced for in excess of 3 months and is returning to racing from a extended spell.

Bound Two Affair was quick to begin. Ramble Tamble and Speed Alert were slow to begin.

Proven Chat, Speed Alert and All Inn Tara collided approaching the first turn checking Proven Chat. Groucho, Ramble Tamble, Speed Alert, All Inn Tara and Eight Bells Toll collided on the first turn checking Ramble Tamble and Eight Bells Toll. Groucho checked off All Inn Tara on the home turn. Speed Alert raced wide on the home turn.

Ima Rebel, Xera Bale and Shining Opal collided soon after the start checking Xera Bale. Whiskey Rose checked off Angel's Halo approaching the first turn. Shining Opal and Batik Print collided on the first turn checking Shining Opal and Angel's Halo.

Blackpool Ace and Golden Aura were slow to begin.

Missy Marlus and Mia Amour collided on the first turn checking Miss Marlus. Kraken Maxi and Bushmans Destiny collided approaching the home turn checking Bushmans Destiny. Half Proven and Kraken Maxi collided entering the home straight. Half Proven, Kraken Maxi and Bushmans Destiny collided in the home straight.

Kraken Maxi underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the left hind toe. A 14 stand down period was imposed.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr Daniel Boots, the handler of Bushmans Destiny regarding his failure to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve the greyhound for racing.

All Inn Hunter and Kiewa Cowboy were quick to begin. Tat Barbie and Fairytale Ending collided soon after the start checking Tat Barbie. All Inn Hunter, Akut and Fairytale Ending collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn checking All Inn Hunter. All greyhounds raced wide in the home straight. Akut, Kiewa Cowboy and Fairytale Ending collided in the home straight checking Fairytale Ending, Tat Barbie and Kiewa Cowboy. Tat Barbie and Fairytale Ending collided approaching the winning post.

Barnhurst – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory trial as the greyhound was stood down from racing at Shepparton for failing to pursue the lure by reason of injury. Weighing 28.3kg and beginning from box 1, Barnhurst completed the 390m trial distance in a time of 22.38. Barnhurst placed 3rd in a field of four starters beaten by 4.75 lengths. Barnhurst has been cleared to race at all tracks.

Iceni Skye – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory trial as the greyhound was stood down from racing at the Healesville for failing to pursue the lure. Weighing 28.3 and beginning from box 7, Iceni Skye completed the 390m trial distance in a time of 22.38. Iceni Skye placed 1st in a field of four starters winning by 2.5 lengths. Iceni Skye has been cleared to race at all tracks except Healesville.
