Violets Are Red - Late scratching at 11.01am on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian due to spike wounds to the right front and hind foot. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
A pre-race sample was taken from Parumba Taylah.
Zharnel was quick to begin. Cool De Beers and Parumba Taylah were slow to begin.
Zharnel and Iona Misty collided on the first turn. Voluptuous Dot, Cool De Beers and Parumba Taylah collided on the first turn checking Cool De Beers and Parumba Taylah. Architecture and Parumba Taylah collided on the home turn.

The following Greyhounds performed a Stewards Satisfactory Trial – The trail took place over 400mtrs with 3 required to trial. The winning time of trial was 22.93.
Sunset Senorita finished 2nd, Banjo Sally finished 3rd, Gin Lee’s Girl finished 4th.
Gin Lee's Girl – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory trial as the greyhound has not competed in an event for in excess of six months due to coursing and change of kennel. Weighing 25.3kgs and beginning from box 1 beaten by 20 ½ lengths. Gin Lee's Girl has been not cleared to race due to easing on the first turn.
Sunset Senorita– Performed a Stewards Satisfactory trial as the greyhound has not competed in an event for in excess of six months due to whelping and being retired. Weighing 29.6kgs and beginning from box 2 beaten by ¾ lengths. Sunset Senorita has been cleared to race at all tracks.
Banjo Sally – Was stood down from racing at Warragul for failing to chase. Weighing 29.1kgs and beginning from box 8 beaten by 14 ¾ lengths. Banjo Sally suffered significant interference and has been cleared to race at all tracks.
