Acting on a confirmed phone call with Trainer Phillip Thomson, Crackerjack Koby was a late scratching at 2.33pm due to vehicle breakdown. A 28 day stand down period was imposed which may be varied upon confirmation of the break down.

A pre race sample was taken from Blackpool Flyer.

Blackpool Flyer and Master Owen were quick to begin. He's Alexis, Kendra Vegas and Bush Mate were slow to begin.

Bush Mate and Kendra Vegas collided soon after the start checking Kendra Vegas. Master Owen lost ground from the first turn. Blackpool Flyer checked off Adori approaching the home turn.

Master Owen was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right thigh, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  

Kendra Vegas was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right monkey muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Ma Deuce was a late scratching at 1.52pm on the advice of the On Track Veterinarian due to a left hind toe injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Pandora's Devil was slwo to begin.

Keeping Gracie and Crash Landing collided soon after the start. Keeping Gracie and Expresso Love collided soon after the start. Keeping Gracie and Pandora's Devil collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Keeping Gracie checked off Pandora's Devil on the first turn.

Keeping Gracie was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Spring Kissed was slow to begin.

Trew Danger and Moondust collided soon after the start checking Moondust. Trew Danger, Broken Pieces, Black Torino and Sirius Matters collided approaching the first turn checking Broken Pieces and Black Torino. Dee Jakit crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Dee Jakit and severely checking Black Torino which fell as a result.

Black Torino was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the thoraco-lumbar, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Still In Play and Roman Renegade were slow to begin. 

Black Rose Texas checked off Hot Tottie soon after the start. Hot Tottie checked off Stoikos approaching the first turn. Crowdza Rockin', Gitcha Loaded and Black Rose Texas collided on the home turn. Roman Renegade and Gitcha Loaded collided in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Ms. C. Read-Herron, the handler of Gitcha Loaded, regarding her difficulty boxing the greyhound in this event. After taking evidence from the Steward at the start and Ms. Read-Herron, Stewards directed that Ms Read-Herron is not to box any greyhounds in a race until she has demonstrated an appropriate level of skill.

Kurri Kurri was quick to begin. Aston Shakira was slow to begin.

Wok Djay checked off Blue Gene Bowie soon after the start. Blue Gene Bowie, Kurri Kurri, All Revved Up,Bombardier King and Galloping Nikki collided on the first turn checking Kurri Kurri, Galloping Nikki and Maramba and severely checking Blue Gene Bowie and Bombardier King. Blue Gene Bowie raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight causing the greyhound to lose ground. Bombardier King raced wide in the home straight. 

Blue Gene Bowie was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Apache Bro - Out of competition sample taken at the Trainer's property on 4 March 2019.

Last Outlaw - Not raced for in excess of 3 months due to a right triangle injury and a spell.

The start of this event was delayed approximately 2 minutes due to Albion Park Harness race 6 running behind schedule.

Apache Bro was quick to begin. Last Outlaw, Monkey Mite and Bakali Louis were slow to begin.

Riverdale Danger and Sudden Call collided on several occassions from soon after the start until approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Whatta Lady, Snow Osti and Apache Bro collided on the first turn checking Apache Bro, Whatta Lady and Monkey Mite. Last Outlaw and Snow Osti collided approaching the winning post.

My Boy Joey and Markinch Maid collided soon after the start. Zero Whispers, Markinch Maid and My Boy Joey collided soon after the start. Flash Apollo and My Boy Joey collided approaching the first turn checking My Boy Joey.

Rapid Rock was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the right toe.  No stand down period was imposed.

As Stewards and Club Officials were not advised of the change in starting time, this event was started at 5.34pm, some 3 minutes later than the rescheduled time.

Ugo Girl raced wide approaching the home turn and was galloped on by Firey Lil checking both greyhounds. Ethan Zane raced wide on the home turn.
