Go Lucy Go and Idle Gem were quick to begin.

Master Zemnick checked off First Rule approaching the first turn.  Inter Helen and Idle Gem collided on the first turn checking Idle Gem.  Idle Gem and Brakae collided on the first turn checking Idle Gem.  Banjo's Ghost checked off Victor Leone on the first turn.  Victor Leone checked off Master Zemnick on the first turn severely checking Victor Leone.  Go Lucy Go clipped the heels of Brakae approaching the home turn checking Go Lucy Go.  

Banjo's Ghost – Proved difficult to box, will be boxed first in future events. 

A post-race sample was taken from Inter Helen - winner of the event.

Dark Stealth - Late scratching at 11:52am due to weight variation(GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr I. Anderson was fined $100.

A pre-race sample was taken from Rosie Reigns.

Rosie Reigns, Zoe's Intention and Yondu were slow to begin.

Rosie Reigns and Santana collided soon after the start.  Go Twenty Two and Rosie Reigns collided approaching the first turn.  Santana, Yuken Win, Inter Nick and Zoe's Intention collided on the first turn checking Zoe's Intention and severely checking Inter Nick.  Santana and Yuken Win collided on the first turn severely checking Santana.  Yuken Win, Yondo, Santana and Inter Nick raced wide in the home straight.

Santana underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury could be detected. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Tim Tam Sam.

Miss Minjee, Tim Tam Sam and Sabakat were slow to begin.

Sabakat and Liam Roxon collided approaching the first turn checking Sabakat.  Sabakat checked off Miss Minjee approaching the first turn.  Tim Tam Sam and Tennyson Girl collided approaching the home turn severely checking Tennyson Girl.  Ado Carr and Delta's Tiara collided approaching the home turn checking Delta's Tiara. 

Mt. View Gift and Terrah round were quick to begin.  Blue Irish went up with the lids at box rise and was low to begin.

Soda Ezy checked off Mt. View Gift approaching the first turn.  She Ignites checked off Mt. View Gift on the first turn.  Our Centurion clipped the heels of Blue Irish on the first turn checking Our Centurion.  

A pre-race sample was taken from St. Leo.

Zipping Dozer was quick to begin.  St. Leo and Blazing Sword were slow to begin.

St. Leo checked off Dude Of Duds on the first turn.  Unsound Mind checked off Dude Of Duds in the home straight.

A post-race sample was taken from placegetter - Unsound Mind (2nd).

Ninetymile Lenny was slow to begin.

Krypto Jam and Arlecchino collided soon after the start.  Krypto Jam checked off Arlecchino on the first turn checking Zharnel.  Zharnel and Good Move collided approaching the home turn.  

Inter Joe and Flying Moss were slow to begin.

Inter Joe checked off Secret Service on the first turn.  Secret Service checked off Victory Post approaching the home turn.  

Woodleigh Guy and News Print were slow to begin.

Woodleigh Guy checked off Joyce's Choice entering the home straight.  Woodleigh Guy raced wide in the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Spectator.

Shotgun Shiloh was quick to begin.

Smoke Signals and Spectator collided soon after the start.  Hurricane Billie, Bela Natali and House Of Luck collided soon after the start.  Hurricane Billie and House Of Luck collided of the first turn.

House Of Luck – Proved difficult to box, will be boxed first in future events. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Aladdin Prince.

Zefron was quick to begin.  Double Black was slow to begin.

Titanium Boy, Turn Him Around and Woodleigh Sal collided on the first turn.  Double Black faltered on the first turn and tailed off.  Queen Of Sprite and Rosie Glenda collided entering the home straight.  Turn Him Around and Woodleigh Sal collided in the home straight.

Double Black underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from Zefron - winner of the event.

Kubla De Kahn – Late scratching at 10:04am when Mr L. Lacy reported the greyhound to have an illness (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Miss Walt and Bronelly Spike were quick to begin.

Bronelly Spike crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Racey Rose, Zipping Lucky, Silver Sky, Ninetymile Hawk and Miss Walt.  Ninetymile Hawk, Silver Sky and Racey Rose collided on the first turn checking Ninetymile Hawk, Silver Sky, Racey Rose and Zipping Lucky.  Ninetymile Hawk checked off Silver Sky approaching the home turn.

Peaked was quick to begin.  Rayda and Miss Crazy were slow to begin.

Rumble Drive checked off Mossy Oak collided on the first turn checking Inter Elesha and Miss Crazy.  Meehan Deano raced wide on the home turn. 

A post-race sample was taken from Shevchenko - winner of the event. 

Stewards spoke to trainer Ms Constance McMillian in regards to comments she made to club staff member Ms Maria Duffin in relation to the forming of a satisfactory trial and issued her with a warning.
