Krisbar Immy was quick to begin. Brave Hearted was slow to begin. Off The Bench and Vroom Vroom collided soon after the start. Ultimate Amadeus and Krisbar Immy collided approaching the first turn. Off The Bench, Krisbar Immy and Nice Surprise collided approaching the home turn checking Krisbar Immy. Brave Hearted galloped on the heels of Krisbar Immy on the home turn checking Krisbar Immy. Off The Bench and Nice Surprise collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight.

Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Mr. C. Blake, Parade did not act in any official capacity for this event that may have had an effect on the outcome.

Still Single was slow to begin. Rocket Jax and Chill Out Isla collided soon after the start checking Chill Out Isla. Chill Out Isla, Rod Vader and Rocket Jax collided on the first turn checking Chill Out Isla which fell. Meehan Bazz and Hook Along Flyer collided approaching the home turn. Hammer Red brushed the running rail approaching the home turn. Meehan Bazz and Hook Along Flyer collided entering the home straight.

Chill Out Isla underwent a  posr-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle injury. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Cawbourne Mav.

Stevie Jane, Black Ice, Cawbourne Mav and Sneaky Pickle collided on the first turn checking Cawbourne Mav. Black Ice and Stevie Jane collided entering the back straight and again approaching the second turn checking Black Ice. Cawbourne Mav clipped the heels of Sneaky Pickle approaching the home turn.

Clovalley Mauri was quick to begin. Emgee Sprinter was slow to begin. Lucas The Great and Emgee Sprinter collided on the first turn. Joycee Rae and Vintage Storm collided on the first turn checking Vintage Storm. Emgee Sprinter, Vintage Storm Lucas The Great collided approaching the second turn. Clovalley Mauri, Dyna Kerro and Renaldo collided on the second turn checking Renaldo. Dyna Kerro and Lucas The Great raced wide entering the home straight.

Rockin' In underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury could be detected.

Playlord underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound and sand toe on the left hind paw. No stand down period was imposed.

Oshkosh Jay was quick to begin. Half Day Harry and Blue Espearance collided soon after the start. Half Day Harry, Revved Up Dee and Bobby Rae collided on the first turn checking Half Day Harry. Half Day Harry and Valletta Sky collided on the third turn checking Valletta Sky.

Bro Wizard underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury could be found.

Luka's Choice was slow to begin. Red Neck Miss, Zipping Simon and Blazin' Bulla collided soon after the start. Our Turbo Girl and Clovally Mansumi collided approaching the first turn. Zipping Simon, Blazin' Bulla and Luka's Choice collided on the first turn. Blazin' Bulla and Luka's Choice collided approaching the home turn checking Luka's Choice.

Hello Cobber, Amigo One and Lily The Weapon were slow to begin. Atlas Bombshell and Dubai Prince collided soon after the start checking Dubai Prince. Blackjack Cruise, Amigo One and Micro Moo collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Hello Cobber. Micro Moo and Lily The Weapon collided approaching the home turn. Hello Cobber and Lily The Weapon raced wide in the home straight. Amigo One and Atlas Bombshell collided approaching the winning post.

Amigo One underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left shoulder injury and right trapizius injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. J. Caulfield, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Amigo One was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Caulfield pleaded not guilty to the charge, Amigo One was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Trainer Mr. D. Faulknall was fined $250 for failing to present the greyhound Ima Rebel in the required kennelling time (GAR 31.2). Stewards took into consideration Mr Faulknall's forthright evidence and that it was established that he had been delayed due to a traffic incident.

Miss Travers and Crackerjack Mick collided approaching the first turn. Stylish Chief and Crackerjack Mick collided on the first turn checking Crackerjack Mick. Hanga and Miss Travers collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn. Stylish Chief and Ima Rebel collided entering the home straight.

Claretown Boris was quick to begin. Fred's My Name faltered approaching the first turn and tailed off. Mr Perfect raced wide in the home straight.

Stewards directed trainer, Ms P.Triaca, of Fred's My Name to be vetted following the event. Stewards have adjourned an inquiry into the reason for Ms Triaca not presenting the greyhound to be vetted. Stewards have stood the greyhound down until being presented for a veterinary inspection. 

Fred's My Name was subsequently vetted following kennelling at Shepparton on 28/3/19.  The greyhound was found to have sustained a left back muscle injury. A 60 day standdown period was imposed.

Track Curator Mr. M. Pell advised that the track was medium harrowed on 24th March 2019.

Pritil Manila – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory trial as the greyhound has not competed in an event for in excess of six months due to a right sesamoid injury. Weighing 35.8kg and beginning from box 1, Pritil Manila completed the 425mt trial distance in a time of 24.37. Pritil Manila placed 1st in a field of 4 winning by 0.75L. Pritil Manila has been cleared to race. 

Meyentay – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory trial as the greyhound has not competed in an event for in excess of six months due to an achilles tendon injury. Weighing 32.0kg and beginning from box 4, Meyentay completed the 425mts trial distance in a time of 25.33. Meyentay placed 4th in a field of 4 beaten by 14L. Meyentay has not been cleared to race.

Fabrebab – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory trial as the greyhound was stood down from racing at the Bendigo for failing to pursue the lure. Weighing 25.7kg and beginning from box 8, Fabrebab completed the 425mt trial distance in a time of 24.41. Fabrebab placed 2nd in a field of 4 beaten by 0.75L. Fabrebab. Connections also wish to apply blinkers. Fabrebab has been has been cleared to race in blinkers at all tracks.
