Steward's Report
Claretown Boris was quick to begin. Fred's My Name faltered approaching the first turn and tailed off. Mr Perfect raced wide in the home straight.
Stewards directed trainer, Ms P.Triaca, of Fred's My Name to be vetted following the event. Stewards have adjourned an inquiry into the reason for Ms Triaca not presenting the greyhound to be vetted. Stewards have stood the greyhound down until being presented for a veterinary inspection.
Fred's My Name was subsequently vetted following kennelling at Shepparton on 28/3/19. The greyhound was found to have sustained a left back muscle injury. A 60 day standdown period was imposed.

Pritil Manila – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory trial as the greyhound has not competed in an event for in excess of six months due to a right sesamoid injury. Weighing 35.8kg and beginning from box 1, Pritil Manila completed the 425mt trial distance in a time of 24.37. Pritil Manila placed 1st in a field of 4 winning by 0.75L. Pritil Manila has been cleared to race.
Meyentay – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory trial as the greyhound has not competed in an event for in excess of six months due to an achilles tendon injury. Weighing 32.0kg and beginning from box 4, Meyentay completed the 425mts trial distance in a time of 25.33. Meyentay placed 4th in a field of 4 beaten by 14L. Meyentay has not been cleared to race.
Fabrebab – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory trial as the greyhound was stood down from racing at the Bendigo for failing to pursue the lure. Weighing 25.7kg and beginning from box 8, Fabrebab completed the 425mt trial distance in a time of 24.41. Fabrebab placed 2nd in a field of 4 beaten by 0.75L. Fabrebab.
