Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. C. Reivers regarding the boxing of Limburg Sprite in this event. Stewards issued Mr. Reivers with a warning pursuant to GAR 51 (10) (a).

Raging Roy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained right monkey muscle and abdominal muscle injuries, a 21 day stand down period was imposed. 

Blackpool Ace and Limburg Will were slow to begin. Crackerjack Nev went up with the lids and was very slow to begin (3L).

Zipping Jerry checked off Mayhem Dream soon after the start. Crackerjack Nev checked off Blackpool Ace on the first turn.

The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Lilty Allen and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 11.28am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer J. Forthergill was fined the sum of $100.

Cavalry Rose was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a injury to the right monkey muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Supplementary Report: On Tuesday 5th February 2019, Trainer Keith Lloyd advised that Cavalry Rose had sustained the following injuries, Soreness in the monkey muscle, chest muscle & strain in the back muscle. 

Suspicious Lee was a late scratching at 11.40am by Stewards, acting on a confirmed phone call from Mr. M. Lloyd, representing trainer Mr. J. Frewin, stating that Suspicious Lee had not been loaded in the trailer due to having diarrhoea. When representative Mr. K. Lloyd arrived on course, Stewards opened an inquiry due to concerns with the timing of the scratching and advised him that Stewards required a veterinary certificate for Suspicious Lee within 24 hours to verify the circumstances of the scratching. Mr. K. Lloyd requested that Suspicious Lee be examined on course due to the difficulty of obtaining an appointment with a local veterinary surgeon. Stewards acceded to this request and Suspicious Lee was subsequently examined outside the kennel block by the on-course veterinarian who confirmed the reason for scratching. Suspicioue Lee was stood for ten days.

Blue Magnum, Miss Travers and Calabrese Bullet collided approaching the home turn checking Blue Magnum and Miss Travers. Miss Travers and Barked Off collided approaching the winning post.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Banjo Fozz trialled over the 390m from box 8, weight 30.3kg, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4 starters. The time of the trial was 22.64, the greyhound was beaten a margin of 8L. Banjo Fozz was Cleared. 

Satisfactory Trial Results -Stewards spoke to Mrs J Torr, the trainer of Rockin' In regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Rockin' In last raced on 1/10/18. Mrs Torr stated that the greyhound was returing to racing following a hip injury. Rockin' In trialled over the 390m from box 2, weight 35.6kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4 starters. The time of the trial was 22.64, the greyhound won by a margin of 2.25L. Rockin' In was Cleared.
