Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mrs. M. Gilders, the trainer of Shearer's Call regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Shearer's Call last raced on the 3rd of August, 2018. Mrs. Gilders stated that Shearer's Call is returning to racing from an extended spell.
Mr. H. Gilders, representative of Shearer's Call declared a new weight of 41.2kg's for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Shearer's Call last raced at 39.8kg's.
Mr. L. Wright, trainer of Sanduman declared a new weight of 29.0kg's for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Sanduman last raced at 27.8kg's.
Shearer's Call was slow to begin.
Raging Roy and Cool Titanium collided approaching the first turn checking Cool Titanium. Black Tess brushed the rail approaching the first turn. Raging Roy checked off Black Tess on the first turn.
