Miss Winks was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained  injuries to the left deltoid and right quadriceps, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

My Raphael was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abdominal muscle injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr I Chircop the representative of the greyhound Miss Winks regarding the greyhounds racing manners in home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Miss Winks with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr Chircop pleaded not guilty to the charge, Miss Winks was found guilty and suspended  for 3 months (all tracks) and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(b), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Mr. L. Wright, trainer of Sanduman declared a new weight of 29.0kg's for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Sanduman last raced at 27.8kg's.

Oops A Daisy last raced on the 27th of June, 2018. Mr. Camilleri stated that Oops A Daisy was  returning to racing following  a hock injury and also being on season. Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr D.Fisher, the trainer of Wendell Allen regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Wendell Allen last raced on 20th June 2018. Mr Fisher stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a change of kennel. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Wendell Allen trialled over the 390m from box 3, weight 29.6kgs, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 21.78, the greyhound was beaten a margin of 11.5L. Wendell Allen was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Cawbourne Mav trialled over the 390m from box 6, weight 35.7kgs, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 21.78, the greyhound was beaten a margin of 17L Cawbourne Mav was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Blue Hunter trialled over the 450m from box 8, weight 32.8kgs, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 25.57, the greyhound won by a margin of 5.75L. Blue Hunter was Cleared.
