Steward's Report
The outside temperature at race start time was 25.20 degrees, the inside kennel temperature immediately prior to the race when the greyhounds were retrieved was 17.70 degrees, and the humidity was 67.7%.
Stewards spoke to Mr P Donohue, the trainer of Jaimandy Tracey regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Jaimandy Tracey last raced on 1 October, 2018. Mr Donohue stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after being seasonal.
A pre-race sample was taken from Nimble Foot.
Octo Flash, Emgee Sprinter and Tat Ox were slow to begin.
Krisbar Blue Fox, Vintage Storm and Jaimandy Tracey collided approaching the first turn, checking Vintage Storm. Grudge checked off Jaimandy Tracey on the first turn, checking Grudge, Krisbar Blue Fox, Octo Flash, Vintage Storm and Emgee Sprinter. Octo Flash and Emgee Sprinter collided on the home turn, checking Emgee Sprinter. Krisbar Blue Fox and Tat Ox collided on the home turn. Nimble Foot and Jaimandy Tracey collided several times in the home straight.
