Stewards spoke to Mr J.Formosa, the representitive of Start From Zero regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Start From Zero last raced on 30 July, 2018. Mr Formosa stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after a change of kennel.

Mr S.Jack trainer of Aurora Miss declared a new weight of 25.7kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Aurora Miss last raced at 26.9kg.

Stewards spoke to Mr P Donohue, the trainer of Jaimandy Tracey regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight. After considering the evidence taken and viewing all available video footage no further action was taken. 

Stewards spoke to Mr D. Grindley, the trainer of Compsognathus regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Compsognathus last raced on 10th of September 2018. Mr Grindley stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after illness.

Ha Ha Gotcha and Chase The Nugget was slow to begin. 

Zero Whispers and Compsognathus collided soon after the start and again on the first turn, severely checking Zero Whispers. Tuiaki Dora, Hammer Head, Tana's Angel and Forgotten Girl collided on the first turn, checking Tuiaki Dora and severely checking Tana's Angel and Forgotten Girl. Tana's Angel, Forgotten Girl and Chase The Nugget collided on the home turn. 

Following a request from Mr D. Grindley, the trainer of Compsognatus, the greyhound was granted an early race request for all future nominations.

Ms Boots stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after a tail injury.Ms Boots also declared a new weight of 27.4kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Scott Confused last raced at 26.2kg.

Twilight Shae and Jaggered Edge were slow to begin. 

Indigenous Lee and My Names Chelsea collided approaching the first turn. Scott Confused and My Names Chelsea collided on the first turn. Twilight Shae, Bob's Hammer and Jaggered Edge collided on the first turn, checking Jaggered Edge and causing Bob's Hammer to fall. Manila Mist, Scott Confused and Indigenous Lee collided approaching the home turn, checking Scott Confused. Scott Confused and Twilight Shae collided on the home turn. Jaggered Edge eased in the home straight. 

Bob's Hammer was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a thoraco- lumbar injury. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Mr Brent Merton, the trainer of the greyhound Jaggered Edge regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Jaggered Edge was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right triangle muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Jaggered Edge with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Merton pleaded guilty to the charge, Jaggered Edge was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Mr A.Farley, the trainer of Lucky Luna regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Lucky Luna last raced on 20th of October 2018. Mr Farley stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after a spell.

A pre-race sample was taken from Cruisy's.

Batik Print, Lucky Luna and Horey's Prince collided soon after the start, checking Batik Print. Horey's Prince, Sandy's My Name and Run Maggie Run collided on the first turn, checking Horey's Prince, Run Maggie Run and Annaley Flash. Mia Amour and Horey's Prince collided on the first turn, checking Batik Print, Horey's Prince and Cruisy's.
