Mayhem Storm was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a injury to the left quadriceps, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Ms Coleman the handler of the greyhound Mayhem Storm regarding the greyhounds racing manners on home turn. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Mayhem Storm with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Ms Coleman pleaded guilty to the charge, Mayhem Storm was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Slanter was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a injury's to the left wrist and left quadriceps and left hip, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr B Jacobs, the trainer of the greyhound Rail Remover regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight .  Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Rail Remover with marring.  Mr Jacobs pleaded guilty to the charge, Rail Remover was found guilty and suspended for 3 months (all tracks) and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(b), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards inquired into an incident behind the boxes prior to start of this event. After taking evidence from trainer Mr. S. Waycott, steward Ms. L. Fahry, starter Mr. R. Phillips and trainer Mr. M. Gibbons, stewards issued a warning to Mr. Waycott with regards to his manner in handling the greyhound Slanter. 

Red Neck Miss was quick to begin. Jean Girard, Covfefe and Jack Skywalker were slow to begin.

Stewards spoke to Mrs. S. Taylor, the trainer of Raging Inferno regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Raging Inferno last raced on the 5th of October, 2018. Mrs. Taylor stated that Raging Inferno is returning to racing from a right achilles injury.

Mr Treherne, trainer of Tuscan Dream declared a new weight of 28.6kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Tuscan Dream last raced at 27.4kgs.
