A pre-race sample was taken from Need A Zac upon arrival on course, prior to kennelling.
Lightning Lil and Dr. Marshmellow were slow to begin. Ann Cherie was checked off Banjo Sally soon after the start. Need A Zac and Ann Cherie collided approaching the first turn. Maybe Hannibal and Just Jimmy collided on the first turn checking Maybe Hannibal.
Lightning Lil was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
Maybe Hannibal was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 11, it was reported that there was no injury apparent.
Stewards spoke to Mr. R Colpoys the trainer of Maybe Hannibal and requested he advise Stewards as soon as practicable of anything that may have effected the running of the greyhound in this event in accordance with GAR 75.
